How to Get More from Your Forklift Truck with a Flat Floor
Increased Productivity – As there are no excessive vibrations with flat floors, forklift truck operators feel safer and more comfortable to drive faster, hence the number of pallets that can be handled over a given period of time is increased.
Reduced Maintenance of Forklift Truck Repair – Uneven floors cause continual vibrations on forklift trucks and can lead to electronic component issues, accelerated tyre wear and wheel bearing damage. This is also the case with rail guided trucks as stress to the chassis can cause the truck to come off the wire.
Decreasing the Liability to Stock – A flat floor will reduce the rattling of the forklift trucks and ultimately the load it is carrying. This is particularly important when handling fragile stock.
